And then we go “splat”

So let’s assume for a few moments that we come in as Spirits, from formlessness into form/matter.  For some of you this is easy, for some it is a stretch.  So stretch a little. 😉

If we are to believe as in the ACIM that we are not our bodies, we are thoughts in the Mind of God.  How does that “feel” to you?  For me it is a definite oxytocin cocktail! Oxytocin is the hormone of bonding and of love.  It actually helps the brain and heart function more optimally.

Now if in fact that which is YOU never dies, the Spirit, the Essence and we come from the field of LOVE and are LOVE itself.  Then why do we not remember this from the get go?In fact we do forget.  As children we come into this world and have experiences that get encoded into our bodies, into the form/matter.

Each experience we have a feeling, thought and body sensation.  If we are skilled at being present with what is happening to fully experience all of it in the moment, it just passes through.  No positive or negative impact.  I truly have not met many if any kids who had this skill ;-).

However if we have a situation that scared us, angered us, overwhelmed us, or nobody was able at the time to help us understand what was happening to us, we can shut down.  This kind of energy gets trapped in our bodies.

Then another incidence happens to us, perhaps a friend betrays us and we feel hurt.  Then perhaps we experience a loss of a pet, a home, a friend.  If we can’t process these things, they get stored in us until we can process them.

So, we come into this world as Love, Spirit and then we hit the earth plane and things happen to us…..we go splat!  Parts of ourselves get scattered, we loose our sense of wholeness.

Our jobs as I see it, is to gather these “parts” of ourselves that splatted and bring them back into “wholeness” , back into center, back into our hearts.  Befriending these hurt, lonely, angry, abandoned parts is what life is all about, as I see it.

The more compassion we can have for all the things we experience that perhaps shut us down, closed our hearts and minds the sooner we remember the Love.

I have learned that even the hardest of lessons which truly hurt deeply that I held tightly in my body…were actually the very best ones!!  If everything is Love, they happened for me to learn forgiveness, love, joy and that my Holiness can handle all of it.!

Enjoy the splat!!
