Our last visit on “the Human Longevity Project”

This is our last conversation on this wonderful series “The Human Longevity Project”.  You can st google this,(human longevity project) there are a few episodes you can still view!!  If these cliff notes inspired you, I do suggest watching the video!!!

This one is how do we move forward with what we have learned?  Modernization has and is diminishing our health.  The way forward is to combine ancient wisdom with modern technology. The technology we have does allow us to connect with others around the world, to share ideas, common bonds and also for us to look into the atrocities that humankind is experiencing on the planet at this time.

We have gone to “excessive”  amount of information.  The internet generation misses being connected to the “past elders/teachers” perhaps each other face to face and heart to heart.  I letting my grandkids know, on vacation you will have one hour on a device per day, OMG, the reaction I received.  I asked them if they knew what an addiction was.  No idea.  Explaining to them that their reaction to the statement exposed their addiction to it 😉

Ancient wisdom was more energy/nature based.  Helping them to see what was invisible.  In these indigenous cultures the children first learn how to engage their “hearts” “intuition”, then they learn the “head” information.  It seems they are more guided from within and grounded in present moment.

We are now in a participatory universe.   More of us are taking charge of our health which is so wonderful to see!  Taking charge of our own “energy” (thoughts/emotions)

Products are filled with toxic chemicals.  So this last episode is about taking charge again of your health.  Commercialization may not be known for creating longevity!

Here are a few of their recommendations:

  • limit use of cellphones, iPads etc.
  • use local gardens – buy what you can organic
  • be active – walk, move, make it a way of life
  • come back to values
  • transparency
  • share
  • mindfulness
  • heart based practices
  • health care education…not prevent this disease or that disease
  • cultural shift in government, schools, teachers, parents, families

Be the person you want others to be…kind, compassionate, patient.  Nobody is at fault, it was our conditioning through generations of modernity.   Let’s all find our way back “home” to our hearts, to love and forgiveness.

Welcome to the obstacle course of humanity!!!  We can do this together!!!!
